The Real Lancashire Black Puddings Co. produces some of the best black pudding in Europe!
Made in Haslingden, to an age-old, traditional recipe, the Real Lancashire Black Pudding Co. is without doubt the most highly decorated black pudding manufacturer in Britain. The list of accolades continues to grow and now stands over 180.
Products were sent to the competition held in Mortagne-au-perche in France which is home to the biggest and most prestigious “Black Pudding competition in the world.” With over 600 entrants from all over the world as far away as Japan and Canada the Real Lancashire Black Pudding Co. were awarded “The Coveted Gold Medal for their Smoked ham and Cheese Black Pudding. The team were involved in creating this year’s competition entries which included a Fruity Black Pudding and The Traditional Black Pudding which also won a medal.
Andrew Holt, Managing Director of The Real Lancashire Black Pudding Co. who has been a Chevalier De Goute-Boudin, a Knight of the Black Pudding since 1998, where he was ceremoniously dubbed with a toasting fork in 1998.
